Ethan-4/27/11Difference between Elementary school and middle school Ethan Winter I’m glad to be leaving elementary school but also sad. Here are the things that I will and won’t miss in elementary school. I will miss awesome parties and delicious birthday treats. I will also miss the good, long recesses. I won’t miss having to line up or stay in one classroom all day. Here are the things that I am looking forward to do in middle school. I’m looking forward to choosing my own classes and Tech Ed. I also will like to put all of my things in one locker. I like the idea of an agenda. I also like more to have more available sports. Here are the things that will stay the same. There will always be teachers and detentions. There will still be lunch, vacation, and unfortunately homework. L
I'm thinking of something that has fur. It also has a tail and paws. It can be hunted. It is a North American predator. It is brown.

ARIZONA-Ethan- 4/7/11 As I wait in the plane nervously I hope this trip won’t be bad. When I was on the plane I didn’t like chewing gum all the time because it lost its taste after a while. I was glad when I could stop chewing gum because then I got to eat gooey chocolate chip cookies. The chocolate chip cookies were as good as Easter. When I looked down I saw a rolling farm area. It was huge. It looked like a bunch of circles. Then when we were closer to Arizona I saw the Grand Canyon. “Hey Ethan”, said grandma. “What?” I asked. “The Grand Canyon!” said grandma. “Cool”, I said. It was cool when I looked at the inside of it. Then about half an hour to an hour later we landed in Arizona. Before we left the airport we got a rental car. Then we went to my uncle’s house and got settled. I got an air mattress. It was as comfy as a regular bed. The next day we went to watch the Colts vs. Packers Preseason game. We creamed them. After the game Peyton Manning was pouting like a baby. On the last day we went to Tombstone, the town to tough to die. It is called that because they went through a fire, an earthquake, and a gunfight in O.K. corral. That town is as tough as a steel wall. The first place we went to was the Bird cage Theater. In there was bullet and knife holes in the walls. They also had manikins in there. At the end there was a gift shop. Then I went on a carriage ride. On the way out I saw a dead tarantula. It was as dead as a piece of dirt. On the last day we also went to the Wild West Studios. I saw a Clint Eastwood documentary. I also was in a play. Then it was time to go home. When I landed I was happy to be home but I missed Arizona.
